At Alondra's

This past Sunday my mom wanted to do/go somewhere so we decided to go eat at Alondra Hot Wings which I have posted about. A couple of weeks ago me and my sister had gone. They have the fried twinkies dessert. So we went to the one in Montebello. The wait was about 30 min. It was pretty packed there. The place was really small. And the service was eh. The one on Alondra Blvd. is way better. But people say that the one located in Alhambra is the best. So I guess we must check it out. We wanted to try this pizza which has the hot wings as the toppings. Pretty good. Hahaha. I actually dropped the pizza when I was trying to get a slice. My sister wanted to kill me. It cost $15 :) But then we got a small pizza and we took that to go. My mom was just like "I had a feeling that would happen" hahahaha Oh mother. So that was that. I tried the chili and cheese pasta. It was alright. Definitely not getting it again though. That was a weird combination. Jack had wings like always and my mother had a little of everything. The bill was about 50 bucks. Yikes. I covered 40 and Jack 10. That's what happens when you're the oldest. It was fun. We had a lot of laughs.

This shit had us scare as shit. Thinking someone would pop out and scare us. And we were all speculating how the show was going to be but it was just a small place. Pretty cute. Since it was a Thursday there wasn't too many people but the ride was pretty good. I could honestly say I was scared and covered my face for a lot of the parts. Okay, just when they stranded us with all those freaking clowns. I just couldn't look I had to cover my face. I really don't like people in my face. hahaha. Excuses. But it was a good night indeed. Then we shared some chicken nuggets because we were starving. Eh.

On the big night!! Woo. We got to the Hollywood Bowl just on time. While heading to our seats Matt & Kim were playing and they were really good. Specially when Kim starts shaking her butt with Mark in his Darth Vader mask. That was really something. Had everyone laughing and cheering. Then there was a 30 minute intermission while MCR got settled. Jack went to the restroom while me and Dina tried to text something to Honda Civic so it could come out on the screen. Never did -_- Then they started playing NaNaNa and everyone went wild and there was some dancing and singing along. It was good. So good indeed. I can't remember what song it was but at a point Gerard asked everyone to take out their lighters and phones and they turned down the lights and everyone had their lighters and phones out. It looked like a night sky with all the lights. It was really pretty. Oh man when they played Welcome To The Black Parade I almost cried. It was my little cousins favorite song and she would always sing it. The most beautiful song played lived. And everyone was singing along to it. Very touching moment. So MCR finished their set. I have officially fallen in love with... Frank Lero. He is soo good looking :)

While this was happening me and Diana decided to take a bathroom break. And left Jack with Talia, who totally missed out on MCR but made it non the less. There we were on a mission to find the bathroom. We did find it!! After going down the hill and then up again. Whatever, we took care of business and headed back to our seats. So those were our seats. Well when me and Diana got back my sister was waiting for us and she just told us come with me. And we were all like "wahhh" and she gave us a ticket each and took us to the terrace section (which they checked your tickets for) and they let us pass. Me and Diana were all like "Wtf, what's going on??" So turns out a very nice lady had both terrace and garden tickets so she wanted to give her terrace tickets away and she saw my sister and Talia and gave it to them because they "look like nice girls". How lucky are they!! Me and Diana got to sit together in a square "terrace" and Jack went to sit next to Talia since there was no one taking the seat next to her. So then Blink started playing and everyone went extremely wild. Shaking and singing. Very exciting. It was awesome to hear some of their songs live. And Mark is really hilarious. Making jokes and cursing. It was a concert not to be missed. So then there was that ending which is really not an ending. But for a second we really thought it was an ending since they took forever to start again. And BAM Travis and his drums up in the air. Everybody was all crazy. I though that was pretty cool, I think I got at least one good picture of that. And then they played two more songs and Mark did his awesome finale and it was done. Woo

We stopped for some tacos and were all delirious that we were doing tricks with out tongues and laughing hysterically. Very entertaining indeed. It was an awesome night. The Bowl is the best venue I've ever been to hands down. Seriously big props.

My pizza :)

This is what my pizza looks like all the time. I get bbq sauce with pepperoni, sausage, and pineapple. Sometimes I add other toppings in one half or on a quarter of it. But really I just usually get a small pizza like this. It's very yummy. I love the bbq from Domino's there's just something unique about it. So I get some all the time. Either on my pizza or on wings. Whatever it is, bbq it has. And everyone hates it. But I don't care. The pizza does not come out at 3.99 but that's how much it was for me since I get 50% off. Woo. Hahaha. Well there it is.

I'm so excited for today. It's going to be awesome!! I have work in 2 hours and then after that the Blink 182 & MCR concert. Wooo!! How awesome tonight will be. And to share it with my sister. We're gonna go wild. And I got us good seats as well. Spend 90 bucks on,each of us. Those have got to be good seats. This weekend is going to be good. Sat is work and fun, fun, fun. Tomorrow, Sunday, is the 5th year anniversary of my grandma's death. So there will be a mass in the morning and then a family gathering at my aunts house with food an all. Can't wait for that. And then later in the afternoon I'll have work and I'll be working with my sister since she's going back to work at Dominos. That's going to be interesting. Let's see how that works. Oh look, my boss just text me to go in 30 minutes earlier. Blah blah... Have to get ready now. Can't wait for tonight!! :)

And my life goes on

Today was freaking CRAZY!! Crazy I tell you. So I wake up thinking I'll get to school early and read the chapters I didn't get to read for my history class. Which is crazy good. So much interesting information. Anyways... back to the beginning I woke up-took a shower, changed and such. I was just thinking of wearing my hoodie and heading out like that but then I saw my leather jacket and figured I'll take it as well. While I'm changing I am wondering about the shoes that I should wear. I am too lazy to put socks on so I go with the flats. What a wrong decision. Two blocks away from my house and my feet are freezing cold. It was horrible. I had to wait for the bus and it was raining and my shoes were extremely soaked wet. I thought it was funny but my feet were really cold. And I will keep repeating that my feet were really cold so you could comprehend that when I mean "my feet were cold" I really do mean they were so freaking cold so cold that my toes were numb. So I go to the library when I get to school and sit and text my mom to tell my sister to bring me some tennis shoes with socks. Horrible, horrible. So its done and settled. I go to class take a quiz (for library studies) get out early and head to the science building for my Chem class. Trying to read the chapters for my history class before I have it (I did finish reading them!) So chem is going on and I have my jacket over my feet trying to give them a little warmth. Not too helpful. At some point I had the most brilliant idea to put paper (the one you dry your hands with in the bathrooms) on my shoes so they could soak up the water. It works but then my feet are still cold. I have to constantly change the papers. Ugh. But wait!! I suddenly get a second idea... Why don't I just blow dry my flats and stay away from puddles. Fuck it. I go to the girls bathroom after chem class, in which we had a surprised quiz so we got to get out early, and just blow dry my shoes. Yeah weird. But I didn't really give a rats tail what people thought. My feet were freezing. So the flats got a little dry but then when I started walking with them... They were wet again. Epic fail indeed. So what, I just had my history class to stand through and then I would be done for the day. And my sister confirmed she would bring me my shoes with socks. Class is good. We have an in class essay that I feel I did pretty good on because I actually read the chapters. Woo-Hoo!! And then when I get out I find my sister and get some warm shoes!! Safe.

Sidenote; I wasn't going to work today but since it was raining they called in CSR's and one of the managers (T.) text's me and asked if I could go in. So I said yeah, what the hell. I get some hours. I got really lucky because Rob had a work meeting so he stuck around Santa Monica so when I got out of class he waited for me and gave me a ride home. Woo. And I had to be at work at 4:30. And I usually get home around four. So I had no time to get home, change and then walk there. But I got a ride and then ate some caldo (that my mother made) and then headed out. I made a pit stop at Mickey D's because I promised T a chicken nugget date. Hahaha. It's our thing at work. We eat nuggets. I got to work with 20 minutes to spare. Definitely winning. Ha! Work was good. I ended up with my boss which always thinks I'm laughing at him. Which I am most of the time. He's so random. I got out around 8:40ish. Walked home. Watched the new episode of Sons Of Anarchy. Eep!! How exciting. And now I am writing this. I have to take a shower. So I will end this.

Rally's

Last night (Monday) I was bored and I wanted to do something, ANYTHING. So I was hungry but my sister didn't want to go anywhere to go buy food. So whatever I text Mr. Chonchis and asked him what he was doing. He said he was down to go with me. So he passed by to picked me up and we headed out to Rally's, been craving a chicken sandwich forever. So we walked and walked. Bought some food and headed back. We stopped by the new video rental place and I must say it was pretty cool. So eh, we were walking down the boulevard and then when we got closer to home we bumped into some friends so we were just chatting it up with them for a good while. Man, that shit was hilarious. At some point we ended up outside Rosie's garage and we were just talking about random shit when out of nowhere a lady pulls up in front of us and starts telling us stuff. She was really drunk apparently because we couldn't understand shit she was saying. But eventually she started talking about 2 1/2 men and how Ashton is not a man whore. So we were like "yeah". Whatever. She left. And we just laughed some. Then Chonchis walked me home and that was that. The food was cold by then but a minute in the microwave made it all good.

Earphones..

So once again the earphones gave out on me. I'm pretty bummed since these actually lasted a good while. Almost a whole year. I bought them last year on november...some random stop at a Best Buy from Santa Monica. I spend 20 bucks on them and I must say that was money well spend. So I realized one of my earphones stopped working on my way home from work. I just put them on pushed play and then nothing from one ear. At first I thought it was the song but then I changed it and nada (nothing). So I cried a little. Actually I just thought about the other 20 dollars I woulf have yo subtract from my back account. Rent is due this week so that's 300 off the bank account. And 40 for my month pass. Ahh too much. Oh well. I love them earphones. So I will try and get me a new pair.

So I recently found the most delicious taste ever. I first had it from ampm but then I got it from 7eleven. What am I talking about?? Well, the raspberry-vanilla cappuccino :) Now, I myself am not a big fan of coffee but the raspberry flavor is so yummy. I crave it a lot. It's so sweet and good. So tonight on my walk home from work I stopped by 7eleven and bought me a large cappuccino. Ha. I always want to buy one buy I usually forget not to cross the street over to the other side so when I pass it I'm too lazy to cross the street. But tonight I was on the right side so I went in. Damm. I am not kidding when I say its delicious.

Sunday Afternoon

This day was a mission. My mom forgot her time card for work so she called my sister to take her the card but the car wouldn't turn on. Very frustrating indeed. The thing was that my mom had take my sisters car so we had to take my moms van but that car doesn't like us. We were there for 10 minutes trying to turn on the damn car. After a good while we decided to go ask my uncle to let us borrow a car. I am talking about my awesome uncle Buzo. We walked over to his video store and asked if we could borrow a car and he ended up giving us the keys to his TRUCK. Haha. Me and Jack were like "oh yeeah". But then that car wouldn't turn on as well. Oh man, our day was just bad all around. We figured it was the way you turn on the car that didn't work but when we asked our uncle to turn it on the car ended up having a dead battery!! HA. So that took about 20 minutes to set up. Couldn't find the keys, there were customers coming in. So blah blah. We go the truck to start running and we headed out. We didn't know where the streets were so we were heading on a whim to see where we would end up. But we go there. And we felt all tall and such. So there is the lovely memory my sister and I will be sharing when were older.

Censorship

For my research topic I chose "censorship". Why? Well because I find it quite interesting. I look up terms such as "banned" or "prohibited" sometimes even "freedom of speech" gets thrown in there. It's all very interesting really. I like it. The list of banned books is my favorite. I want to make it my mission to read them all and I must say I'm not far behind. Since a lot of them are classic books that were banned when they came out in their time. But since we are in different times they're not "banned" anymore. Censorship now is quite different than what it was before. How is it now?? Well google it. I think with technology now a days. If you want to know about something, looking it up in the web is the easiest way to find information. It's quite sad. Why? Well because if you think about it. We have absolutely NO PRIVACY. And the knowledgeable ones are those that take time out of their life's to get informed. Everyone else is oblivious and ignorant. But hey, we can't blame them for that. Some people just have different interest. My point is, Censorship; "suppressing unacceptable parts". How/Why?? Who comes up with these rules. Why should we follow them. And why can't we just get it all raw. "Stop being restrained and expand your mind."

Replay.

I recently purchased this album and it's on constant replay. I love it. The meaningful songs, the voices, and the whole story behind Rent. It's just wonderful and good. I've always loved this musical. And I finally got my hands on a copy of the soundtrack. Ha, I love it so much I went and payed for it. Lovely.

Drive

Wow, if you go see this film you'll love Gosling even more and really appreciate all his work. There's nothing that he does without a greater purpose. And this film, though quite strange, had a really interesting concept. Me and Diana were like "wahh" but then he went crazy loko. (Very interesting). The reviews are good which makes it worth watching.
