American Idiot :)

I met a really interesting person this semester. Very smart. Funny. Tall :) We had a little fall out around my birthday so I was a little eeky afterwards. But today was quite fun. We met up after class and had a good chat/walk. Made plans to meet up tomorrow as well. I'm quite interested but I have my habits to break. I can't avoid the feeling I get when I know someone likes me I just want to push them away. Run from the feelings but this one is quite stubborn. He ended up breaking the ice and it's like we're back to where we first started. I'm not too sure of his intentions but I guess I am going to see this through. See where we end up.

Clutter

On here I have albums, flashcards, movie promos, event promos,tickets from events, tickets from movies, pictures of me, pictures of me and my family, artist I love, post cards I like, a Lakers play ball, the spray for my glasses, a cup from The Expendables, more albums, a stapler, an I love you note from my little cousin, and last but not least a Taco Bell sauce packet because it had the word "verde" which means green in Spanish. Oh yes and a Socrates bookmark that has a quote that I liked;

"Employ your time in improving yourself by other men's writings, so that you shall gain easily what others have labored hard for"

Interesting words from one considered so wise. I was just browsing the Central Library's gift shop when I stumbled about it. I was looking for a fancy bookmark and I ended up getting this one instead. So now I have some words that I think of when I find myself intrigued with someone's writing. Like today for example my Geology teacher his book is now on sale and it took him 10 years to finish it. Very impressive stuff indeed.

Tuesday/ Fun Day

Last Tuesday, the 10th of April. Me and my coworkers went to have breakfast at Ihop. We were there for quite a while gossiping and such. What we usually do. Then I mentioned that me and my sister wanted to go to the beach so then they asked if they could join. And then we went back to my place and picked up my sister and off we went to the beach. We ended up at Long Beach we rented some wheels and pedaled ourselves around the coast. It was really fun and quite tiring. Specially the cart thing it was a workout to turn the wheels on that thing. But we had a great time. Well I could honestly say that I did. It was really fresh. And it was fun running away from the others. And then it was even more entertaining the following days when JackO was randomly complaining of her ass hurting because of the bike seats. Too effing funny.

Lovely Surprise

So after Easter Sunday my mother bought me an egg. You see we buy items when they're 50 percent off. Which is like the following day after the holiday. I got chocolates after Valentine's Day for my mom. Hahaha. Anyways, this day my mom had walked me to work and I told her to go buy me an egg. When I got home there was an egg on the table that I figured was for me. Which it was. So there I was sitting in the table taking the wrapper off this egg and it was chocolate. Yum!! I bit into the top and what did I end up well a lovely marshmallow chick. I mean when I read "marshmallow inside" I figured it would be a regular marsh but of man I got the cutest thing ever!! The first thing out of my mouth was a big "aaawww" which then my sister commented "I did that too!" It was too cute. I just had to take a picture of it. I then went to go find me some more of these but I had gone to the wrong store. Boo!

I can't seem to keep a straight one. Therefore in pictures I tend to always look like THAT. Bah. Anyways, I took this picture the last time I dyed my hair green again and I was taking some pictures to just post them I guess. But I forgot or maybe I actually did post them. Well I can't recall a thing. I've decided not to post from my blogger app anymore because the pictures never come out nice so now I send them to my email and then upload them on here. Which means that I will randomly post on here and when I do I will most likely post a couple of out dated events. Boo. Here I go

I think I like one more than the other but that is just me right now. I did like them both at first quite equally. Eh. I still have some green hair in me. I guess when I get it cut it will be gone forever.

Rocks?

I pass this path way when I walk to the bus stop and this pathway always catches my attention. It looks really pretty when the sun is hitting it. It shines. And I always wanted to take a picture of it but its the entrance to a gym so there is cars always going in and out. But today I was walking buy and just decided to pop out my cell and shoot a picture. Maybe I just like it because it has a lot of green rocks. I want to say they're minerals though. Jeez, I'm taking a geology course and I don't even know. I fell sure that the dark rocks are basalt. Just because we all know basalt is a pretty common rock.
And this I found on a wall of the hospital parallel to my job. I don't normally pass through here but I had noticed it when I would catch the bus since the bus stop is right in front of this wall. And it's just there, which I find hazardous, and I lean on it. I tried taking some of them off but it wasn't possible. Boo. I really did try though. They looked pretty.

(Maybe they're called something else. But I can't think right now and give proper titles.)

When bored.

I was home laying on the carpet and pretty bored waiting for my mother to get home. I usually don't post such faces on here. All the pictures of my are pretty simple and shit. But eh, I guess today I'm all about the whatever face. And then this app that has all these different effects for pictures. I just shuffle them all together and see what I get. This was the most decent.

I really liked this video. It was really cute. I thought she would bust something like Skyscraper where she is just singing and there's really no story in the video. Which I guess makes sense for the kind of song that Skyscraper is but this one. Oh man, I really like the video though it's not premiering till Tuesday I got to see it before.

Me and D ♥

This is when we went to go watch The Hunger Games. We were just chilling en su carro because we had a whole hour to wait. We wanted to sneak in some frozen yogurt too.

Sat. March 24th

My cousin wanted to celebrate my birthday by going to a bar. We didn't end up at a "bar" but we did end up pretty wasted. It all started with making plans to go to a bar and just chill and have a drink or two. I invited Talia who is my only 21 year old friend. We were going downtown but then my cousin wanted to go to The Shack which is a bar by the beach but when we got there "it wasn't popping" as my cousin declared it. So then we decided on going to a movie before that we stopped by a 7eleven and got us some small bottles of wine. The cool thing about the theater that we ended up at was that it had a bar inside. We got there a little after 11pm and our movie started at 11:55 so we had a few minutes to kill. We had a martini each and then by my cousins sharing of my birthday some birthday shots with the bartenders whose birthdays were also on March. We were stable by the time we got to our right theater hall. Then the small wine bottles were passed around and those eventually did us really good.

All I got to say now is that I love Drunk Aihtza. She's hysterical. Oh, but Drunk Talia now that's a plus. Watching her dance her way home was one of the highlights of the night.

Romeo Santos Concert

For Christmas last year my sister had the idea of buying my mom tickets to go see Romeo Santos who was going on tour and she told me about it and I said sure that's cool. I ended up paying for all three tickets which came to be close too $400. Anyways she didn't end up going after all because she had class. So then we invited Talia to come with :)

I honestly don't like the guy just for the simple reason that he is not my type of genre but I love the concert scene. It's really exciting to see people get all crazy and the guy is a good performer. It was really fun and I'm glad my mom had her fun that night though she did bitch about the seating. I mean come on!! Hahaha.

The Hunger Games trilogy

Damn, I've been trying to remember why I ever started reading The Hunger Games and I just can't remember. I'm pretty sure I read it on 2009 because I named it one of my top 3 favorite books on my speech class and I had that in late 09. I found a copy of it on a thrift store and I liked it so much I even lend it out to a friend who never gave it back. Pfft. I'm pretty sure the first time I read it was because I checked it out from the library I don't usually buy books I've never read before. Catching Fire I probably checked out as well because by the time I actually bought me a copy I bought it with Mockingjay which came out in 2010. I thought it was such a good book to be on the young-adult section but then again Ms. Collins is a children book writer.

I went to watch the movie last Wednesday which is about 6 days after it came out. I guess I didn't have time to watch it before. I'll be honest and say that not even 10 minutes in and I was close to tears. It was crazy good. I loved it. I just couldn't imagine how things would be portrayed. Yeah like always there's the "that is wrong" or "that's not how it happen on the book" but compared to other books turn movies this was pretty accurate and it got the gist of it all. The point of this is... that good things should be talked about and mutually shared. That's how the book got such popularity in the first place.

Heart & the Power of 3

I got this on my 21st birthday. I wanted to get something else but I ended up getting this one and the music note behind my ear. Why did I get this??? Well why not. The truth is I always wanted a heart tattoo. I found them cute and all. Yeah, I'm not into cute an all but it was something I just wanted. And the significance of the 3 is that its always been my favorite number. Why? Well I was born at 3 am on March (3rd month) 23rd, another three. My family consist of three people. There is a lot of significant three's in my life. So there it is.
