An expired library card...

Ugh. I'm so annoyed!! I was all excited about checking out this book that I've been wanting to read, and that I had out on hold at the library, only to find out that my fucken library card has expired. How annoying! I waited weeks for these books to be available. And now, I have nothing. I'm very disappointed now. Going to cry...

:P

My sister wanted to go to the beach so I had to change in to comfortable clothes. I send this picture to my mom because she send me a text to Wake Up. I replied with, "I am, and now I'm leaving". She didn't really like that. Oh wells.

Jewelry box

I found these everywhere while I was in Mexico. but this one was the first that I bought. It all colorful and pretty. And it was only like 35 pesos which is the equivalent of about 3 dollars. Can you believe that?!?! What a bargain! And they are handmade as well. Win.

Faces

Just making a face.

Recovery

You can't see shit. But that small red dot on the top of my stomach use to have one small stitch that hurt so bad to take off. So now I have a little red dot where something was pushed through. Now, the worst opening is the one in the bellybutton. Can't really see much from this photo, but the wound still has yet to heal properly.

There's no one to talk to

Girls

Here are my sister and cousin standing in a gazebo. They are posing provocative. Maybe. I told them to get up on there so I could take a picture of them. I don't know why, maybe because I'm insecure, but I can't bust this. We were in a park. Well not exactly, but those places in the middle of the city that looks like a mini garden and there are people selling stuff. And right in the middle this thing was standing.

Under the umbrella

Here we were, under the umbrella, outside of the cathedral of Mexico City. We were just enjoying the city when out of nowhere it started pouring WATER. We  had a little accident with the umbrella because at one point it flipped on us. And we stood there, shocked at first, then started laughing because we looked so ridiculous. I had taken this photo before the misshape, therefore we weren't that preoccupied about our wet selves.

Bellas Artes

In the scene! This was a shot I took from the balcony of the restaurant that we decided to have lunch at. It was a beauty. The food was good, though I didn't get any special plate of anything. Just some burritos that I had to give surgery to because I hate tomatoes. So there we were in a place that we have never been to. We enjoyed our lunch and my uncle once again did not let me pay for our food, though they promised me that they would. Liars. It was raining this day and my uncle bought us some ponchos so we could not get wet, we got wet anyways. The city has pretty monumental places like that place across the street which is Bellas Artes a very important  part of Mexico City. Unfortunately, we did not get to go inside this place because we had to catch a bus to Guanajuato. Regardless, the day was pretty eventful.

Little places

This is the photo I took after we got off the bus to get to the Centro of Guanajuato. We were headed somewhere. A museum. And this is the people just sitting around and the sky looking so clear. Which was a LIE. About the sky that is because after an hour it started pouring and me an Pepe got socked. Honestly, the day was so sunny and beautiful the rain was very unexpected.

Callejon del Beso

Here we find ourselves in the Alley of the Kiss. Or better known as el Callejon del beso. I had always heard of it, okay not always, and I expected it to be something grand. But it was a simple corner between houses and there were kids telling the tales of the two lowers that would kiss each other from their balconies, but then the daughters father found out and threatened to kill her if he ever saw her do that again. She didn't believe him and when the father saw them again he didn't tell her anything anymore, but went out and killed her.
We were there for a good while, but didn't really do much. I didn't kiss anyone. Lol. But there were couples who went up and had someone take a picture of their kiss. Quite cute.

Down the steps

These are the steps of the University of Guanajuato, where my 10 year old cousin took a great fall. If you can spot him, he is the boy with the red shirt. I have no idea what happen but he jumped and I saw him in the air in one moment, then jumping to his feet. We were all pretty scared that he had hurt himself or something, but of course he was fine. Boys.

Art

Eye spy my aunt chatting  it up with this guy that was selling these paintings. I saw them and mentioned how lovely they were. You can't really see much on this photo, but the paintings were really colorful. They weren't that expensive either. The biggest one was about 70 dollars or so. The small ones about 30 from what I could remember. She didn't buy one though. We just got to admired them.

The world

This is the view that we had while walking up the trail to get to Cristo Rey, which is at the top of a mountain. It was very green and lively. I was really amazed at the scenery here. So of course I took out my phone and snapped some pictures of what I was seeing. This picture doesn't really show how wonderful it really looked, but at least there's a glimpse.

We were here

This translates to Hall Of Death? I think. It was a pretty short museum, if that's what we could call it. It was just a hall and there was two rolls. One to go in and the other to get out. There was weird things inside, like holograms. Dead bodies, more like bones really. And sayings. Plus other random things, like a lucky pearl that was also a hologram. To get in we had to pay 15 pesos which equals about a dollar and some cents. Nothing much.

Cousins

A picture of my sister and cousins looking at the "lucky" pearl.

Guanajuato

In a Mine

My cousins paying attention to our guide who was telling us the history of the mine in which we were. I was just trying my best not to do much physical movement. It was a lot of small steps to get down here, and at one point the guide turned off the lights to show how dark the place could get. I could contest to the fact that you can't even fucken focus in that dark. I couldn't see anything! It was scary and awesome at the same time. I mean, it wouldn't have been awesome if something would have happened to us. Good thing nothing did. There was also stories that some people see spirits that ask for help. I'm so glad that didn't happen to ass.

Cathedral

This the Cathedral of San Cayetano in Valenciana.
Which is said to be covered in gold from the inside. I didn't have the strength to walk up the many steps that lead to this place to confirm what is said about it. But from the outside it looked quite astonishing.

The hospital

The lucky hospital were I spend my weekend. Instead of partying it up with my cousins I ended up here a Saturday morning and got let go on Monday afternoon. Yes, it was a wonderful stay. Hospitals are scary.
