There's no one to talk to

Girls

Here are my sister and cousin standing in a gazebo. They are posing provocative. Maybe. I told them to get up on there so I could take a picture of them. I don't know why, maybe because I'm insecure, but I can't bust this. We were in a park. Well not exactly, but those places in the middle of the city that looks like a mini garden and there are people selling stuff. And right in the middle this thing was standing.

Under the umbrella

Here we were, under the umbrella, outside of the cathedral of Mexico City. We were just enjoying the city when out of nowhere it started pouring WATER. We  had a little accident with the umbrella because at one point it flipped on us. And we stood there, shocked at first, then started laughing because we looked so ridiculous. I had taken this photo before the misshape, therefore we weren't that preoccupied about our wet selves.

Bellas Artes

In the scene! This was a shot I took from the balcony of the restaurant that we decided to have lunch at. It was a beauty. The food was good, though I didn't get any special plate of anything. Just some burritos that I had to give surgery to because I hate tomatoes. So there we were in a place that we have never been to. We enjoyed our lunch and my uncle once again did not let me pay for our food, though they promised me that they would. Liars. It was raining this day and my uncle bought us some ponchos so we could not get wet, we got wet anyways. The city has pretty monumental places like that place across the street which is Bellas Artes a very important  part of Mexico City. Unfortunately, we did not get to go inside this place because we had to catch a bus to Guanajuato. Regardless, the day was pretty eventful.

Little places

This is the photo I took after we got off the bus to get to the Centro of Guanajuato. We were headed somewhere. A museum. And this is the people just sitting around and the sky looking so clear. Which was a LIE. About the sky that is because after an hour it started pouring and me an Pepe got socked. Honestly, the day was so sunny and beautiful the rain was very unexpected.

Callejon del Beso

Here we find ourselves in the Alley of the Kiss. Or better known as el Callejon del beso. I had always heard of it, okay not always, and I expected it to be something grand. But it was a simple corner between houses and there were kids telling the tales of the two lowers that would kiss each other from their balconies, but then the daughters father found out and threatened to kill her if he ever saw her do that again. She didn't believe him and when the father saw them again he didn't tell her anything anymore, but went out and killed her.
We were there for a good while, but didn't really do much. I didn't kiss anyone. Lol. But there were couples who went up and had someone take a picture of their kiss. Quite cute.

Down the steps

These are the steps of the University of Guanajuato, where my 10 year old cousin took a great fall. If you can spot him, he is the boy with the red shirt. I have no idea what happen but he jumped and I saw him in the air in one moment, then jumping to his feet. We were all pretty scared that he had hurt himself or something, but of course he was fine. Boys.

Art

Eye spy my aunt chatting  it up with this guy that was selling these paintings. I saw them and mentioned how lovely they were. You can't really see much on this photo, but the paintings were really colorful. They weren't that expensive either. The biggest one was about 70 dollars or so. The small ones about 30 from what I could remember. She didn't buy one though. We just got to admired them.

The world

This is the view that we had while walking up the trail to get to Cristo Rey, which is at the top of a mountain. It was very green and lively. I was really amazed at the scenery here. So of course I took out my phone and snapped some pictures of what I was seeing. This picture doesn't really show how wonderful it really looked, but at least there's a glimpse.

We were here

This translates to Hall Of Death? I think. It was a pretty short museum, if that's what we could call it. It was just a hall and there was two rolls. One to go in and the other to get out. There was weird things inside, like holograms. Dead bodies, more like bones really. And sayings. Plus other random things, like a lucky pearl that was also a hologram. To get in we had to pay 15 pesos which equals about a dollar and some cents. Nothing much.

Cousins

A picture of my sister and cousins looking at the "lucky" pearl.

In a Mine

My cousins paying attention to our guide who was telling us the history of the mine in which we were. I was just trying my best not to do much physical movement. It was a lot of small steps to get down here, and at one point the guide turned off the lights to show how dark the place could get. I could contest to the fact that you can't even fucken focus in that dark. I couldn't see anything! It was scary and awesome at the same time. I mean, it wouldn't have been awesome if something would have happened to us. Good thing nothing did. There was also stories that some people see spirits that ask for help. I'm so glad that didn't happen to ass.

Cathedral

This the Cathedral of San Cayetano in Valenciana.
Which is said to be covered in gold from the inside. I didn't have the strength to walk up the many steps that lead to this place to confirm what is said about it. But from the outside it looked quite astonishing.

The hospital

The lucky hospital were I spend my weekend. Instead of partying it up with my cousins I ended up here a Saturday morning and got let go on Monday afternoon. Yes, it was a wonderful stay. Hospitals are scary.

At Target, being happy.

Baby C

The newest addition to my family. This lovely girl. Hello cousin.

Stitches

Yes, it's disgusting. No it's not that big. This is one of the three openings I got to get my appendix removed. This one is about under my bellybutton. I could say my naval, but I don't really know where that is. Ha. This one had the worst bruising and had two stitches. Stupid little stitches that were so complicated to take off. So here is the pain. The bruising. Enjoy.

Blab

I have creepy eyes. At least this picture freaks me out. I don't know what is wrong with my face.

Face

I don't know. I see it. and I feel creeped out. Something creeps me out about my face. Weird.

Guess who's back!?!

I am! Finally back in my homeland, though nobody really knew that I had gone off on a little vacation to Mexico. We just arrived last night to LA. We had this big fiasco in going and coming since we got our flights from TJ and to TJ when we came back. So we took a bus to TJ and barely made it on time for the flight. We we're so tired, but couldn't fall asleep because the seats were very uncomfortable. And it seemed like the flight was taking forever. Then we landed in Mexico City and felt like shit from hunger and fatigue. Our uncle picked us up and took us to Hidalgo which is about an hour away. Totally fell asleep on the way. We spend about three days in my aunts house going and seeing different places. Then we took a bus to Guanajuato, which took about 5 hrs. We got to my other aunts house at 2 in the morning. Everything was going quite well and we were looking forward to the weekend because we were going to celebrate my aunts bday but them Saturday morning I woke up with major stomach pain. That same day they took my appendix out. Yes, it hurt like a bitch. Yes, I was fucken scared. And yes, I wanted my mother. But everything went well. The operation only lasted about an hour in a half. By Monday morning I was out. I'm not sure what the name of the operation is called in English, but I was informed that it was the better option for me since I was about to travel back home. I was informed to walk about so I could get my strength back and feel much better, which I must admit works. I feel much better than Sunday where I could barely get up from bed or reach my ass to clean myself. Over all the trip was good. I had a lot of fun with my cousins and though now I have a debt to pay and worry about, I wouldn't change anything. Unlike my stupid sister; I really enjoyed the trip :)

Shopping

It was a Monday. My sister decided that she was not going to go to work, so I suggested we go to Citadel Outlets. We had breakfast first and we then went treasure hunting. I had never spend so much money on stuff. Clothes to be more precise. I hate shopping and I hate spending money on clothes. I honestly would rather go out and do something. But I needed new stuff and I wanted new shirts because I had already purchased jeans and more jeans. So here I was in the bathroom with a lot of bags to carry. I believe the round up of the purchases was $700. Where does the money go, I ask.

Mother

We keep telling the lady that we are not going to have children. So there we were in Ikea and my mom was all like, Y'all should buy me these dolls since you won't give me grandchildren. Me and Jax started laughing and told her she had to pose with them. Which of course she did. My mother is too down. Love that lady.

Bowling

Here is baby Gissele looking at the bowling alley lovingly because she wanted to bowl. The thing is that this night the girl was all over the place. Screaming and running. She was either delirious or hyper. Me and Robert could not decide. The loving part of this night was that she stopped me before I bowled so we could dance together. To some Paisa song!! Hahaha. I was just like, Oh you want to dance? Okay. I won't stop this girl from doing whatever she wants to do. She's too adorable.

Green house

Robert took us to this park where it was a park/botanic thing. I forgot the name to it, but it was beautiful. There were peacocks everywhere. Just posted. And there were some greenhouses with lovely plants and flowers. They were also very refreshing. Which was good because it was super hot this day.

Climbing trees

He thought he could do it. And all because he wanted to take a picture up on the tree. It didn't end up happening though. Too many ants. Lol.

Gissele

Some lovely adventures in nature.

here I was

Passage

In the historical forest we were in. Why is it historical? I don't know. That's the name of it. But it was lovely. I saw a squirrel. It looked at me sort of fishy so I slowly backed away. I so did not want to get attacked by a squirrel this day. My poor face.

Ducks

Walking, we were just walking when we stumbled upon a herd of ducks. They were just all there munching on something. The grass most likely. Maria tried to get close but then one acted like it would attack her so she ran. We laugh. And this picture looks lovely.

PXNDX

My pictures don't look as good as what I was actually seeing. Which means that my camera sucks. Same shit happen at the ID concert. But any who this was at the House of Blues in Sunset. It was a musical festival of some sort and PXNDX was the main band. The sound was pretty bad but the band rocked!!

PXNDX concert

I love this band.

At work

There was a fall...

I was running and in my head I was all like, "look at me I'm still running and I'm not even tired", when all of a sudden my left ankle twists and I fall on my ass. Yes, it was as funny as it sounds.

Green nails

I bought this nail polish by Revlon for $5. I fell in love with the color as soon as I saw it. Rain Forest is beautiful.

Hiking

My friend found this Canyon in Whittier if I recall correctly it is called, Tunrbull Canyon. It is the worst thing to get up that thing. I swear I thought I was dying. My thighs hurt so bad. I literally just wanted to roll down and be over with it. But it was fun! I love hiking with Maria, Robert, and for this day we had Adrian along. It was too much fun. So many laughs going down the canyon. And the view was just astounding.

Fancy

I'm not even wearing my pants. I just have them  so my underwear wouldn't show. The point of this picture is my lovely shirt that I bought at Charlotte Russe.

Painting

Ever since I got my box of paint I've always pictured what I would like to paint. This was something that I had in my mind for a long time. Today of all days I just decided to open up the box and do something. My initial thought was not to paint this exactly. But right across from me, where I was sitting on the floor, my work hat was propped on the doorknob of my closet door. Which then gave me the idea to do this. Not entirely a masterpiece I must admit. But I've always wanted to draw the logo of Domino's. And now here it is.
